Produced this one with my friend Mark Watter. He, Naomi and myself all went to high school together so it was really fun to reconnect on this one. Naomi’s band from back then, Factors of Four, was incredibly formative to my own musical upbringing in the house show scene so this felt like a full circle moment. It was also my first time producing for a band rather than a solo artist. We did the whole thing in a week at Headroom Studios as the weather was starting to get nicer. Kyle’s riff on “Space” gets stuck in my head all the time.
