This is the first track released from a full length album I made with my good friend, Ben Zaidi. He graciously invited me to work on this record with him out in LA, where we recorded straight to tape at Tropico Beauty.
This one came together pretty quickly, in huge part to our great band: Brock Stuessi on bass and Ryan McDiarmid on drums. I was fortunate to get in the room to track the guitar on this one too. Yaelle’s music takes so many unexpected turns which made arranging these songs so fun and rewarding. This one in particular has so many twists but our band nailed them all. I remember her vocal coming together super quick on this one as well.
