Mallory and I first met up for a week at Headroom Studios to record four songs. From the jump we were both super excited about “Felicity”. It was one of those moments where everything just came together really easily and so it’s no surprise that it’s the first from the bunch to be released. All of Mallory’s strengths are on full display here and it still feels like the most “Mallory” song to me. We were also fortunate to have Craig Hendrix come in to nail the drum part.
